Executive Assistant/Board Secretary Ms. Stephen-Porter commenced her fire service career as the appointed Board Secretary for the North County Fire Protection District in January of 2003. Background: Employment: Ms. Stephen-Porter currently serves as the Secretary to the Board of Directors and as the Executive Assistant to the Fire Chief. She serves on the management team and as a member of the Strategic Planning and Health & Safety Committees. Ms. Stephen-Porter has also served in a number of senior management positions in local government and for-profit organizations. Ms. Stephen-Porter practiced as an attorney in San Diego County , primarily involved in local government representation and complex litigation. Education: Ms. Stephen-Porter has an Associate of Science degree in Nursing Science, a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Doctorate degree in jurisprudence; she holds numerous certificates in management and computer sciences. Ms. Stephen-Porter is a licensed attorney and register nurse in the State of California .
